Rebecca is a divorce attorney and partner at Miller & Simms, PLLC. Her practice has focused exclusively on family law for eight years. Rebecca has represented clients in complex divorces as well as routine, uncontested divorces. She has also handled adoptions and domestic violence cases. Rebecca understands each case presents its own set of unique facts and circumstances. She strives to tailor her approach to each case accordingly.
Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Louis D. Brandeis School of law at the University of Louisville. She was an officer in the Student Bar Association and founded the local chapter of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration team. She completed an externship with a local judge in family law and studied domestic violence. This ignited her passion for divorce and family law.
Rebecca earned her bachelors from Western Kentucky University. She competed on Western Kentucky University’s international and national champion Speech and Debate Team. Rebecca has extensive knowledge in research, writing and public speaking, and won numerous awards including a championship in persuasive speaking.
Rebecca is a member of the Louisville Bar Association and Kentucky Bar Association. She is a member of the family law section of the Louisville Bar Association. Rebecca was voted by her peers as one of Louisville’s top divorce lawyers in the Louisville Magazine (2014 and 2016) as well as a Rising Star Super Lawyer (2015 and 2019).
